Gabies is a start up blanket making company located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Gabies hires and empowers weavers in Ethiopia who are marginalized communities and makes 100% cotton handmade blankets with advanced quality .we make blankets for adults in different sizes, baby blankets, and pillow cases.
In spirit of helping the community Gabies donates one blanket for every sale made. The free blankets will be given to people who do not afford to buy blankets and live on the coldest part of Addis Abeba ( Entonto mountain ) .
The heart and reason behind our one-for-one model is we want our blankets to represent the love every human should have toward one another. We want our blankets to represent love.
